In a sleepy Gloucestershire village steeped in centuries of history we find Sally and Nicks Forest home. For them the choice of windows had to be triple glazed and enhance the feel of their home. You’ll see from the before pictures that the windows were dark wood and small panes. At one time pretty and striking but the passing of time meant they were hard work to maintain. So the need arose for a change.
Replacing Timber Windows
It is a big decision to change the windows in your property. With many factors to be taken into consideration, cost is often foremost in peoples mind, yet quality & security often end up becoming more important. Value for money in stylish quality products is important yet Perfect Choice offers more, as this study will demonstrate. Let’s start the journey with this Gloucestershire home.
The windows as they were…
Obviously there are many different designs out on the market, double glazed, triple glazed, aluminium, uPVC wood effect to practically any colour plus styles from traditional to modern. How do you make a choice? Sally and Nick wanted something in keeping with the style of the property. If you’re not sure, the designer that Perfect Choice sends out will use software that will show you what the options would look like on your home. You can also browse some options on our Window product page.
Wood Effect Double & Tripled Glazed Window Installation
What did they choose? Let’s see…
The Irish oak looked the most natural and fitted with period of the house. A bonus is many people think the window frames are wood!
The Irish oak is a uPVC window with a wood effect externally and internally, a plain colour, usually white, is available internally.
Previously they had a conservatory installed on the house, you can see it in the above pictures. So they choose Perfect Choice, why? When they decided to go ahead with the conservatory they did their research and received a few quotes. However Perfect Choice was the only company willing to use the stone the couple already had on hand, that matched the house. The results are clearly seen in the gallery below….
So we chose Perfect Choice as they could accommodate our wishes over the stone and they had lots of extra features which we really liked.
As I contact customers to write these case studies, I hear more and more how the teams at Perfect Choice go that extra mile. Willing to take on jobs that other companies wouldn’t touch with a barge pole. I think they love a challenge, particularly the surveyors and installation department! Whatever issues arise they do their best to come up with a practical solution.
